Fashion is not just an art, but also a way of expressing feelings and thoughts. Art is usually about either beauty or meaning; at JULIE EHME we always try to achieve both. Each of our collections tells a new story and serves as a pretext to question ourselves and our relationship with the world. In a world that is moving faster and faster, we aim at creating a suspended moment where fashion meet arts, poetry and dream.

Quality & Made in France

Quality of our garments and accessories is our top priority. Our fabrics are carefully selected for their durability, comfort and design. Most of our garments are made in a family atelier specialized in luxury fashion and based in Paris and our jewelry is made by a jewelry manufacturer based in Saint-Agrève (south of France).

Sustainability

The fashion industry is one of the most polluting economic sectors, and the rise of fast fashion shows us every day that there is still a long way to go towards environmentally-friendly fashion. Faced with this situation, we decided to take actions:
 
  • all our fabrics come from deadstock and/or are made in either natural or recycled materials;
  • a maximum of 2 collections per year, against the trend of fast fashion;
  • many of our garments are modular (e.g., removable sleeves) to suit the season and the occasion;
  • a demanding quality process to ensure a long service life;
  • all our products are made in France (most of them in Paris), thus reducing transport-related carbon emissions.

Innovation

Innovation is at the heart of JULIE EHME. All garments include an official EHME tag that can be scanned with a smartphone. The EHME tag provides an authenticity guarantee (each JULIE EHME product is as unique as you are!) and gives access to a portal with a wealth of information about the scanned product (story of the collection, images and video of the show, fabrics, care instructions, etc.). And many more functionalities are coming so stay tuned!

The EHME tag uses the NFC technology and is compatible with most Android phones and iPhone (iPhone 7 or higher). Just tap the tag of your garment (usually located at neck or waist level) with the top of your smartphone and let the magic happen!
